Fr. John Stone

Fr. Stone's Service of Induction was on 27th October 1985 and was carried out by Fr. Matthew McInerney, the Dean at the time.

Fr. Stone had a housekeeper to care for him as his health was often poor.

After a little over a year Fr. Stone left our parish to revitalise the parish at The Witterings, West Sussex.
Sadly, on 22nd January 1994, he died in St. Raphael's Nursing Home.
