Fr. Christopher Bedford

Fr. Christopher came to our church at Christmas in 2001 following the untimely death of Fr Patrick Emmanuel. Originally from Yorkshire, Fr Christopher was working from Westminster Cathedral when he became our stand in priest until 2004.

Sadly, Fr Christopher passed away on Monday 30th June 2008 following a battle with cancer. His requiem mass was held in Peacehaven 4 days later, lead by Bishop George Stack with 17 priests concelebrating mass and a packed church full of people paying their respects.

Fr Christopher's wishes were that his ashed be scattered in the Garden of Remembrance at a future date. May he rest in peace.
